The forgotten history of America

 

The history of violence against the American government is punctuated by incidents which diversity, scope and intention is surprising to many nowadays. During his two centuries of existence the Capitol has been the subject of countless, protests, bomb attacks, shootings and fights between legislators and, in 1814, an attack at the hands of British troops.
